Reef ledges where turtles rest

Dive Site

Turtle Point

The most reliable place at Tenggol to meet a turtle.

Site Overview

As the name suggests, Turtle Point is the best site for encountering green and hawksbill turtles, which rest on the coral ledges and graze across the reef.

The reef structure of ledges and overhangs also shelters reef fish and the occasional resting shark, making it a rewarding, relaxed dive.

Depth Range

Turtle Point dives in the range of 5 – 20 m. Always plan your depth and air according to your certification and comfort level, and dive within the limits set by your guide.
